Membership, Terms & Conditions

 Membership

NOTE:
Our choir sessions will be conducted online at the moment due to the current government advice.

Please could choir members pay £5 for their session via the paypal link above whenever they can  make it along.  If you do not have a paypal account please contact Donna on the usual email address.  Also, if you are struggling financially because of the current situation due to being self employed/having lost your job/reduction in salary - please do also let me know - the most important thing at this time is that we ALL come together for our weekly sing and keep our spirits high and our wonderful choir together.

To make membership as fair, simple and flexible as possible we have adopted the following system:

- Membership is on a month by month membership. It is £7 per session.  Please pay at the beginning of the month.  To make it as fair as possible to you, you can select the amount of sessions that you know you can attend each month.  Just click on the dropdown menu above to select how ever many sessions that you expect to attend in any month. Simple!   

Please note: You do not need a Paypal account to be able to use this, you can just use a credit/debit card without signing up for Paypal.  

- Please remember to pay at the beginning of the month.  We are not at all like some of the big franchise choirs, we are a very small group of small choirs and it is all organised and funded solely by just one person.  Your membership ensures that the choir will continue successfully.   



- Typically we will cover 2 songs in a 4 week block and all resources for the songs will be saved on our 'Members Area' of the website for you to practice with at home, so if you do miss a month for any reason, you will be able to catch up on the songs.  

Term Dates:
We don't really have strict term dates so please click on the tab for the relevant area that you attend above to see the session dates. Note: We never have sessions on bank holidays. 

Terms & Conditions:
We don’t really like to have terms and conditions but in order for this choir to run regularly and successfully we do have to have just a few. Hope you understand!
 
Cancellations/ Missed Sessions

Once you have signed up for the month, if you find that you can’t attend a one off session due to unfortunate personal circumstances, if, for example, you are ill, we are very sorry but it is unlikely that we will be able to refund you for the missed session due to the costs involved of running the choir.  

If you are unable to make a block of sessions due to a medical or emergency situation, of course, please contact Donna (info@soultrainchoir.com).   We reserve the right to make a decision about refunding your monthly membership fee on a case by case basis but will promise to ALWAYS be fair and reasonable! 


We want you to enjoy your choir sessions and be fully prepared, therefore if you do have to miss a session please contact us so that you are fully updated on the material covered in the missed session.


Resources
Your choir resources (arrangement scores, lyrics and audio recordings) will all be given to you in the sessions , or audio recording put up onto our members area for you to download so that you can practice at home if you wish.  Please let Donna know if you have any trouble with this.
